Patty - Lead Dental Hygienist

Patty has been a hygienist for 18 years! Patty says her favorite part of working at Gentner Family Dentistry is making her patients happy and wanting to come back! Patty loves this career for many reasons but loves the fact that she has a favorable schedule and can be home with her family at night and on the weekends. When Patty is not at work she enjoys camping, fishing, bowling, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is a huge sports fan! Patty is married with three children and a pup! Three words that best describe Patty are bubbly, social, and vocal!

Sarah - Dental Hygienist

“I am a mom of 3 amazing kids and 1 dog, 1cat, and 1 chicken. I also have fur grandbabies! My family is my whole world and I am beyond blessed by them. I am new to the field of hygiene but found a true love and passion for what I do.”

Tiffany - Dental Hygienist

I have been working in the dental field since 2008. I worked as a traveling hygienist in Florida providing dental hygiene therapy to residents of long-term care facilities, while enjoying the sun and sand.

For the past few years, I was living in Bethel, Alaska working for the Indian Health Services providing dental hygiene therapy to the Yupik Native American population of the Yukon Delta. Now I am back home in Michigan!

When I am not working, I enjoy shooting sporting clays and refereeing sporting clay state tournaments. I also enjoy going on outdoors adventures with my dog Remi.

Rebecca - Registered Dental Assistant

I have 3 beautiful daughters and an amazing Fiancé. I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy camping and watching sports.

I have been in the dental field for 12 years and I love it. I have been Certified Dental Assistant for 9 years and a Registered Dental Assistant for 3 years. I truly enjoy helping others and creating self-confidence with a healthy smile.

I am blessed to work for Gentner Family Dentistry for many reasons, from wonderful staff to amazing patients. With the state-of-the-art technology that is offered here at GFD, it allows me to learn new skills every day.

Shelbee - Dental Assistant

I love being a dental assistant because I can make positive impacts in patients’ lives through their smiles. Everyone deserves to smile, and everyone deserves to have a smile they love! Dental assisting fell into my lap in July of 2020 and I haven’t looked back since! Although I have only been at GFD for a short period of time, I chose GFD because of the positive, Christian based work environment. I love coming to work knowing that Dr. Gentner is leading us by her faith every day and it is truly a blessing to be a part of this team! My goal is to continue my education in the dental field and hopefully become a dental hygienist someday.

In my free time I enjoy jewelry making with thrifted items, spending time outside with my fur baby Duke, and staying active in the gym.

Heather - Lab Technician/Dental Assistant

I am mother to two daughters and a grandmother to three grandchildren.

I started my career as a Dental Lab Technician in 1995. Through the years I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience. Fabricating crowns to making and designing dentures and partial dentures.

In 2020 I advanced my career and became a dental assistant. Working here at Gentner Family Dentistry I feel double blessed as I’m not only a dental assistant but also a lab technician.

There is something to be said for the feeling you get when you are helping somebody not only feel better from potential tooth pain or discomfort, but seeing the excitement and appreciation in somebody’s face and smile when you have given them their confidence and dignity back.

Becoming part of the team here at Gentner Family Dentistry has been an absolute blessing and has given me a feeling of family and happiness.

I’m truly where I belong.

Russelle - Treatment Coordinator

I joined the Gentner Family Dentistry team as the Treatment Coordinator in 2021.
I work closely with patients to provide the best treatment plan that works for their individual needs with compassion and honesty. Together we come up with the best plan personalized for you!
I’m currently expecting my first child, & I’m really looking forward to becoming a mother to our little girl. While I’m not at work in the summer months I love to visit my hometown of Ludington MI.
